BOTHOST is a small, no-frills hosting platform for Node.js WhatsApp bots — built for people who want to run a bot without learning Docker, Linux, or how to configure a hosting panel from scratch. Alongside hosting, BOTHOST also offers temporary virtual phone numbers for receiving SMS verification codes.

Under the hood, every bot runs as its own isolated container on Pterodactyl, an open-source game/app server management panel. We handle the account setup, billing, and container provisioning; you get a working console to scan your WhatsApp QR code and go.

Everything runs on a simple coin economy — deploying costs coins, staying online costs a small daily amount, renting a virtual number costs coins, and coins are bought in Ghana Cedis through Paystack. No subscriptions, no surprise charges — if your balance runs out, your bot pauses until you top up again.

Virtual numbers

Need a phone number to verify an account? Pick a service — WhatsApp, Telegram, Google / Gmail, Facebook or Instagram — and a country (Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, the United States or the United Kingdom) on the Virtual Numbers page. We rent you a temporary number, and the verification SMS shows up right in your dashboard, ready to copy. These are short-lived, single-use numbers meant for receiving a code — not for calls or long-term ownership.

The price is quoted in coins before you confirm, and you'll never be charged more than the quote you approved — if the price rises before the purchase completes, it's cancelled and you're shown the new one. If no SMS arrives, or the rental window runs out, the coins are refunded automatically; you can also cancel and get a refund while you're still waiting. 1. Acceptance of terms

BOTHOST ("the Service") is operated by Vincent Yeboah, of Ohwim, Kumasi, Ghana ("we", "us", "the operator"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Description of service

BOTHOST provisions and manages hosting containers for Node.js applications, primarily WhatsApp bots, on infrastructure operated by us. Access is billed through an internal coin system funded by payments processed via Paystack. The Service also lets you rent temporary virtual phone numbers for receiving SMS verification codes (see Section 5).

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account and hosting panel credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Coins and payments

Coins are a prepaid, non-transferable credit usable only within the Service. Purchases are processed by Paystack in Ghana Cedis. All coin purchases are final and non-refundable once credited to your account balance; coins returned for an unused virtual number are covered in Section 5. In the event of a documented billing error or failure of service delivery, refund requests must be submitted through our Feedback channel within 7 days of the transaction date for internal review.

5. Virtual numbers

The Service lets you rent temporary virtual phone numbers for receiving one-time SMS verification codes. Numbers are supplied through third-party SMS providers, are single-use, and remain available to you only until the rental window closes. Availability, supported services and countries, and prices depend on the providers and on live stock, and aren't guaranteed.

The price of a rental is shown in coins before you confirm, and you won't be charged more than the price you approved. If no SMS code arrives before the rental window ends, the provider cancels the order, or you cancel while the number is still waiting, the coins are returned to your coin balance. Once a code has been delivered, the rental is considered used and isn't refundable. Returned coins are credited to your coin balance only — never to your payment method.

We don't guarantee that any particular service will accept a number, or that an account verified with one will remain active or recoverable. You may use virtual numbers only lawfully and in line with the rules of the service you're verifying with — not for fraud, harassment, or any illegal activity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse them, without refund.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to host bots or software that: violate WhatsApp's own Terms of Service; send unsolicited bulk messages (spam); facilitate illegal activity; or attempt to abuse, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure or other users' servers. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation, without refund.

7. Service availability and suspension

Servers are automatically suspended when an account's coin balance can't cover the daily upkeep fee. We don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime and may suspend the Service for maintenance, abuse investigation, or other operational reasons.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vincent Yeboah is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, bot downtime, or third-party actions (including WhatsApp account bans resulting from bot use).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

1. Who we are

BOTHOST ("the Service") is operated by Vincent Yeboah, of Ohwim, Kumasi, Ghana ("we", "us", "the operator"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Service, why, and what you can do about it.

2. What we collect

Account data: username, email address, and a hashed (never plaintext) password. Creating an account also creates a matching account on our Pterodactyl hosting panel, using the same username and email, so you can access your bot's console directly.

Payment data: coin purchases are processed by Paystack. We receive and store the transaction reference, amount, and status — we never see or store your card, mobile money, or bank details; those are handled entirely by Paystack.

Server and usage data: which bot templates you deploy, server names, coin balance and transaction history, and (for the Panel Access tab) an encrypted copy of your hosting panel password.

Communications: if you submit the Feedback form, we store the name, email, and message you provide.

Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) generated automatically by our hosting infrastructure, and error reports (see Section 4) if something breaks while you're using the Service.

3. How we use it

To create and secure your account, provision and manage your hosting panel access, process coin purchases and billing, send you account-related emails (verification, password resets, low-balance and suspension notices, referral bonuses), respond to feedback, and diagnose bugs.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Third parties we share data with

We use a small number of external services to run BOTHOST, each of which processes a limited slice of your data solely to provide their specific function:

Paystack — payment processing (Section 2). Brevo — sends transactional emails on our behalf (verification, password reset, notifications); your email address and the email content pass through their systems to be delivered. Sentry — error monitoring; when the Service encounters a bug, technical details about that error (which may include parts of the request that triggered it) are sent there to help us fix it. MongoDB Atlas — hosts our database. None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

5. Data retention

We keep account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes. If you delete your account, we delete your Pterodactyl panel account and hosting data; a minimal record of past transactions may be retained where we're required to for financial record-keeping.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by reaching out through the Feedback page. Where Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) applies, you have the rights it grants data subjects, and we'll honor requests made under it.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. Sensitive credentials stored on your behalf (like your hosting panel password, for the Panel Access tab) are encrypted at rest. All traffic to the Service is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

8. Children's privacy

The Service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
